"Abigail Breslin, currently starring as Helen Keller in Broadway's The Miracle Worker, gives Playbill.com a peek at the hours leading up to her first preview.

Abigail Breslin has quite a hefty resume for an actress of any age, let alone for one who will celebrate her 14th birthday this spring. At the age of ten, Breslin became one of the youngest actresses in history to be nominated for an Academy Award, for her role in 2006's "Little Miss Sunshine," and she has starred alongside some of Hollywood's biggest names, including Jodie Foster, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Mel Gibson. She now takes on one of the most iconic women in American history, Helen Keller, in the revival of The Miracle Worker, at Circle in the Square. Breslin, who is making her Broadway debut, took Playbill along on her first day of previews.

Morning:

When I wake up in the morning I eat cereal on the couch and cuddle with my dog for a bit before heading off to the gym for a quick run. I like to get to the gym before going to the theatre to get my energy up. After the gym, I head home for a quick shower and then I'm off to the theatre!"

Rachel Ray Show

Abigail was on the "Rachel Ray Show" today. The show's official website has uploaded two videos of Abbie:

"Now almost 14, Abigail is fulfilling a dream of hers, portraying Helen Keller on Broadway in The Miracle Worker. "Helen Keller is one of my heroes," she tells Rachael. "I've always wanted to play her - she's so inspiring."

Abigail explains how doing live theater in the round enables her to see audience reactions up close, in particular from one excited 9-year-old girl in the front row. "During the end scene at the water pump when Helen finally learns the difference between the word and the object, when I said, 'Wawa,' she goes, 'Yes, Helen! That's right, you're doing it!' It was the coolest thing ever."

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

I hope everyone was able to catch Abigail on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" yesterday. For those of you who didn't we should have a clip of the show available very soon. Thanks to Lee we have a more information about Abigail upcoming film "Janie Jones" and what Abigail's character is like =) Joel Moore (one of the films co-stars) said the following:

"The movie stars Abigail Breslin as a teenage girl who has to go on tour with a rock band after getting stuck in a lousy predicament for herself. However, it becomes a life lesson for her father - the lead singer of the band played by Alessandro Nivola - and of course for her character..."
