Now that Melinda is older and has embraced her "gift," she is able to help the ghost find her parents and crossover; however not before Melinda has to reunite with her mother who has information about their whereabouts.

Summary: When the wife and 9-year-old blind daughter of a Navy captain are kidnapped, Gibbs and his team are faced with a unique challenge, on the second-season premiere of NCIS, Tuesday, Sept. 28 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Gibbs and his team are called into an uneasy situation when a Navy captain's wife and 9-year-old blind daughter are kidnapped from their home. The kidnapper, who is demanding $2 million in government funds, is also holding the captain hostage in his own office via webcam. Gibbs devises a plan to plant listening devices in the office and then takes a huge risk by instructing the Captain to demand the kidnapper show a gesture of good faith by releasing his daughter before he completes the money transfer. Meanwhile, Abby and McGee use their computer skills to hack into the kidnapper's computer and trace his whereabouts.

Since they're still acting like, well, little kids over it, they jointly decide to give the bear to a little kid who might like it more -- a girl named Josie who lives downstairs with her mother Marcy. Josie names the musty-odored toy Stinky Bear, and immediately takes it to her heart -- and behind her tricycle, dragged along by a rope. Holly and Valerie chance to see Josie abusing their beloved toy, and plan to get the bear back into a loving home -- theirs -- somehow.

When Jeanine's insolent husband, Daren, tells Olshansky that Jeanine is lying as a punishment for his recent affair, a frustrated Olshanksy finds himself in a quandary over who is telling the truth. Meanwhile, an increasingly annoyed Marcellus finds it necessary to arrest Olshansky in an attempt to force him to reveal Kayla's whereabouts to the seemingly concerned Daren.
