Abigail Breslin Online

“CBS Evening News Anchor Katie Couric and actress Abigail Breslin met with cancer patients at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Tuesday for a story that will air during the Stand Up To Cancer special. […] Breslin, the 12 year old star of “Little Miss Sunshine,” lost her grandfather to lung cancer, and will be in a movie called “My Sisters Keeper” with Cameron Diaz about a family struggling with cancer.”

If you’re interested, you can read the rest of the article here. Also, the article includes a video of Abbie at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which you can download here. Don’t forget to visit the official site of the campaign to learn more about it. Thanks Lee for letting us know about this and Linny for the downloadable version of the video.

Thanks to Almi we have a new picture of Abbie. It was taken on July 16th at the Anne of Green Gables Performance at Confederation Centre. Looks like she’s having a lot of fun! Also, you can read an article about it here. They got some facts from MABO, so they credit us. How cool is that? =P

Also, Amanda kindly donated some scans of the July Issue of KEWL Magazine. You can take a look at those here. Enjoy! =D

Not run by us, but I thought I would point out the newest Abigail Breslin Fanlisting since the only other one I knew of has now closed. If you’re a fan of Abigail (which you probably are if you’re here lol), go and join now =) Click here to join. Sorry this is such a short and random update, there should be (hopefully) more news on Abby soon =)

Thanks once again to the wonderful Mila we have even more new photoshoot images =) This time they’re from the shoot by Johathan Russo which were used in the past for the Power and Smile and Read campaign. As always, Abigail looks really really beautiful, so check them out in the gallery asap =)

The amazing Mila found some seriously gorgeous photos of Abby from the shoot she did for LA Times Magazine back in June. They are so incredibly beautiful and are most definitely worth a look. Unfortunately they are all tagged at the moment but fingers crossed we’ll find some good quality ones very soon =) Check them out in the gallery =)

{Later} I know the last layout wasn’t up for a very long time but with all the new photoshoot pictures recently a new look for the gallery had been calling out to me =P It’s very pink and girly, and i’m rather pleased with how it has come out =) Take a look.

I have a huge update for you today. First of all, it seems that Abbie will attend the San Diego Comic-Con on July 24th:

“3:30-4:30 Quantum Quest—This science fiction/science fact, 3D, large-format CGI-animated film will take you on a fantastic atomic journey through space. Quantum Quest combines a captivating science fiction story with a mind-blowing real safari through the solar system (created using radar data and extraordinary imagery from seven NASA missions). The film is the only one to be initiated by JPL/NASA and is sponsored by JPL/NASA and Digimax Animation Studios (Taiwan). Co-directors Harry Kloor (Star Trek Voyager, Earth Final Conflict, Godzilla) and Dan St. Pierre (Everyone’s Hero, Shark Tale, Tarzan) show exclusive footage from the film, which will be released in late summer, 2009 in both large-format and Real D theaters worldwide. Watch for surprise appearances by some members of the voice cast, which includes legendary astronaut Neil Armstrong, Chris Pine, Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Alexander, Sandra Oh, William Shatner, Brent Spiner, Mark Hamill, James Earl Jones, and Abigail Breslin. Ballroom 20”
